Digital Badge A: Chapter One

                                                          Three Distinct Concepts

After reading Chapter one, I have came up with three different distinct concepts. I would like to do some more research on these concepts: Technological pedagogical content knowledge(TPACK), Interactive, inquiry learning, and digital childhood. When I was reading Chapter one, these three concepts just interested me the most. I would like to know more.
TPACK, which stands for Technological pedagogical content knowledge, is about how teachers bring together things in a classroom. There are three different knowledge for this, which are Content knowledge, Pedagogical knowledge, and Technological knowledge. I have a lot of questions about TPACK. Some of my questions are why are these there the most important ones? Is this just for elementary school? Is there more knowledge for Life Skills classes?.
Another, distinct concept is highly, interactive, inquiry which is based on learning. Everyone learns differently and they organize differently. When a teacher goes to add new materials to his or hers website how do you know that it is organized just right for parents/kids? or are the materials easy to read and understand? I would like to understand what teachers do for this kind of issue. Plus, does the teacher make a special page or section for kids parents that do not know English?, this makes me wonder and I would like to do some more. research .
Finally, kids and there digital childhoods. I believe that this is what effects children today. Its says in the textbook that "by 2010, over half of US children under age 5 were using some type of electronic learning toy". My questions are: is this making children learn faster or is it hurting them?, should there me a limit for the learning toys?, How does this help children?.
All three of these concepts make me wonder and makes me want to look into it. TPACK, highly interactive inquiry, and digital childhoods, I think, are good concepts. I am hoping to do some more research and have my questions answer before I become a Elementary School Teacher. I want to make sure my students and parents are satisfied with the things that I do.
